Frida Giannini brought a new touch at Gucci adding “freshness, joyfulness, and optimism” without forgetting the brand's heritage. For the Gucci spring 2011 collection, one of the Roman designer's sources of inspiration was Marakkech. “It’s not really about Morocco; it’s a continuation and a celebration of who we are, and what we do,” Giannini said.
