Refined opulence stood as the theme for Rachel Roy's latest collection unveiled in a digital show at NYFW fall 2013. Check out highlights of the show!

Rachel Roy's fall 2013 collection was unveiled at the New York Fashion Week as a digital show rather than a regular fashion presentation as the designer apparently felt the need for a change as this way she could satisfy best the needs of those that craved taking a glimpse at her fashion show as soon as it debuted. 'I thought, why not give something different a shot? We're always trying to squeeze a handful of editors in the room when there are 5 million people also begging to be in there. With this, I can reach more of our fans and tell the story of the collection in a new way,' said Rachel Roy in an interview with style.com regarding her show presentation.

The virtual show was captured by the lenses of various cameras featuring different angles to capture all the details from different points, details that made the collection worthy of the highest raves.

Refined opulence was the theme that stood as the muse for the collection and this characteristic was present in each design through the cuts displayed as well as through the digital prints and exquisite embroidery effects that had a glamorous and fierce baroque allure.
