For the new line, the designer had a particularly intriguing concept in mind: “To eat a hamburger wearing a Harry Winston ring.” This was his creative way of explaining the fresh and completely unexpected combos that dazzled the audience in a matter of seconds.
Varsity jackets proved an essential staple of the new Emanuel Ungaro resort 2014 line as they instantly put the new looks into a new perspective. The very first look gave a fairly good glimpse of the designer's vision, proving that sporty pieces are anything but frumpy when combined cleverly. The high slit skirt that was part of the ensemble proved that sexiness was still one of the label's top concerns for the new line. The label's modern approach was obvious both in terms of tailoring and as far as pattern was concerned.
